Mages and Charlatans

Mages and Charlatans is a part of the TGI (Tiny Game Idea) Fridays series. With TGI Fridays, we're uploading our little ideas - small, easy-to-pick-up games that require few components. They're explorations of ideas as much as games in themselves.

Mages and Charlatans is a character-focused storytelling game for 2 – 4 players. You play as a fortune teller – whether a magical soothsayer or a yarn-spinning fraud – at the gathering of the seers. Here you will showcase your talents in a head-to-head scrying demonstration with your fellow players, exploring one another’s past, present, and future. 

This game uses small mundane items from around your home as scrying pieces. Otherwise, all you need is the instructions, pen and paper and you're set to play.
